NFC Forge Privacy Policy

Effective 23 October 2026 ยท Applies to the NFC Forge Android app (package com.nfcforge.nfc.tag.reader.writer)

The short version

NFC Forge has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Everything you read from or write to a tag, every saved profile and your history stay on your phone. The only data that leaves your device is what you yourself configure in an automation (for example an HTTP request task) and the purchase information Google Play needs to unlock Pro.

Data we do not collect

Purchases

Pro is a one-time purchase processed by Google Play Billing. To confirm the purchase and restore it on your other devices, the app uses RevenueCat, a purchase-validation service. RevenueCat receives the Google Play purchase token and a random, anonymous app-user identifier generated on your device. It does not receive your name, email address or payment details; those stay with Google. RevenueCat's own privacy policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy.

Network access

Besides purchase validation, NFC Forge connects to the internet only when you run an automation task that you created, such as an HTTP request, a webhook or opening a URL. Those requests go to the addresses you typed, with the content you typed.

Permissions

NFC is required to read and write tags. Other permissions (Bluetooth, microphone, notifications, location, "Modify system settings", "Do Not Disturb access") are optional and are requested only when you add an automation task that needs them. You can revoke them at any time in Android settings; the related tasks then show a clear error instead of running.

Children

NFC Forge is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13. It collects no personal data from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
